LaserCard Corporation Boosts Presence in Latin America with Secure ID Solutions Expert Ismael Dykman
MOUNTAIN VIEW, Calif. – Sept. 7, 2009 – LaserCard Corporation (NASDAQ:LCRD; www.lasercard.com), a leading provider of secure ID solutions, has appointed sales and business development manager Ismael Dykman to its team of professionals focused on providing secure ID solutions to governments throughout Latin America.

Most recently Dykman served as Government Sales Manager, Latin America, for a leading identity solutions provider, where he increased the company’s participation in driver license, state ID, national ID, voter ID, and civil registry programs. He drove the development and sale of large-scale national ID programs in Nicaragua and Guatemala and passport issuance systems in Brazil. Dykman is Vice Chairman of the Smart Card Alliance Latin America.

In 2009, LaserCard implemented Costa Rica’s new card issuance system and currently provides advanced optical media based ID credentials for the country’s new foreign residency ID program (“DIMEX”). The digital security of the company’s optical media has never been compromised.
